SeniorNet Learning Centers offer computer classes specifically designed for adults 50 and older. It is also a community of seniors teaching seniors to use computers in their homes, libraries or community organizations.Introduction to computers and basic computer skills are taught. Class participants are introduced to computer hardware, including use of the mouse and basic computer skills such as creating, saving and finding files. Basics of word processing, spreadsheets and databases are also taught. There are no tests and no grades!Additional classes cover the Internet, digital cameras and graphics.The Northeast Levy Center (corner of Lawrence and Damen), one of the senior centers run by the City of Chicago Department on Aging is an affiliate and you can take classes there.
