Eldercare runs in Kerry’s family. She has a sister that is an elder law attorney and a niece working as a sales and marketing associate in a Chicagoland senior living community.
Kerry loves seniors and believes they should have the opportunity to maintain their quality of life for as long as possible. After graduating from Northern Illinois University, Kerry started her career at the front desk of a senior living community. Within three months, she moved onto human resources, as well as AP/AR.
After one year of learning the ropes of senior living, she transitioned to a director of community relations position. Her expertise in that area allowed her to work with five different communities within the same company.
Later, she worked as a sales director by helping families and conducting needs-based assessments and tours. After 12 years, Kerry realized that families’ demographic, financial, and care needs could be better met if they understood all of their senior living options in Chicagoland.
Kerry is a certified dementia practitioner, a member of the Association of Senior Service Providers and Continuity of Care Alpha Chapter. She is also a board member of SamaraCare.
Kerry has lived in Downers Grove all her life and enjoys life to the fullest with her husband, three kids, and two dogs.
